FLORENCE BLAIN MBAYE | CURATOR
As curator for this 8 th edition of Oper’Actuel, Florence Blain Mbaye wants to create a programme that invites to question the nature and role of the singer, the opera performer in his or her vocality, musicality and physicality, and in his or her relationship with the composer and librettist.
A multidisciplinary artist who graduated from the Conservatoire d’art dramatique de Montréal, Florence is an actress, professional oboist, singer-songwriter, sound designer and dancer. She has a wide range of stage experience, thanks in particular to her performances in film and theatre, and with Les Violons du Roy and the Orchestre Métropolitain.
