Call For Proposals For Classical:NEXT 2024 Is Now Open

On September 1, 2023 Classical:NEXT 2024 opened its search for the best, brightest and most forward-looking artists, projects, conference topics from all corners of the classical and art music world! From 1 September until 6 October 2023 all music professionals are invited to submit their proposal for a Live Performance, a Conference Session or a Project Pitch for Classical:NEXT 2024, 14–17 May in Berlin, Germany.

All proposals will be considered by an independent jury of international experts – guaranteeing a neutral yet informed selection process.

Berlin Calling

One of the special things about Classical:NEXT is that the programme is made and selected by the community for the community. For each edition, a jury of international art music professionals selects the Showcases, Conferences and Project Pitches.

Are you interested in performing at one of our Showcase stages, in pitching your project to the international Classical:NEXT delegates or in presenting your topic as part of our Conference programme? Then make sure to submit your proposal via classicalnext.org. There you will find all necessary details for your submission with hints and tips for how to apply.

We are looking forward to your proposals from all corners of the classical and art music world. It doesn’t matter if it is early or contemporary, traditional or experimental, most importantly it’s heading “NEXT”. Present your topics or projects and share your expertise with the Classical:NEXT delegates in our conference programme.
