  • Associate - $250

    This category serves Indie Companies, Chamber Opera producers, Music Theatre and Musical Theatre producers and other related production companies and creation collectives, as well as performing arts presenting organizations that include opera in their seasons, ranging from smaller festivals to the National Arts Centre. British or Canadian writing.

    Ranging from larger university opera programs to summer opera institutes and Young Artist Training Programs, Educational Producing Associates are training grounds building the opera sector of tomorrow.

  • Students of EPA Member Organizations (Educational Institutions)

    Students at an educational institution that is a member of the Association for Opera in Canada, are eligible for this membership level. Student membership is free of charge and will remain active as long as you are enrolled at a member educational institution.

  • Opera Artist - $100

    Opera artists (including choreographers, composers, conductors, creators / producers, dancers, designers, directors, dramaturgs, instrumentalists, librettist, singers, stage directors and all other artists involved in the creation and production of opera) join AOC for professional development opportunities, increased discoverability, opportunities to network and build community within their sector, and to have a voice at the advocacy table to influence policy-making.

    As opera artists continue to face increased precarity and financial hardship, AOC has a membership dues policy – Relief for Opera Artist Membership (ROAM), for those in need of dues assistance. If you need financial assistance, we invite you to apply the code “ROAM”.
